We developed the branding and the out of home launch campaign for BBC Sounds, a new app that houses thousands of hours of BBC content, both live and on-demand. For the first time it will offer a single home for all the BBC’s audio content.
We worked closely with BBC UX and creative teams to shape the brand strategy, naming and design. Our branding expresses the unique way in which BBC Sounds unites all your audio content in one place. The brand language weaves all of these elements into a highly flexible system, while always maintaining the human element of BBC Sounds. Our aim was for it to reflect the expressive, creative and deeply personal experience of the app.
We wanted to bring together the different strands of audio content into one harmonious whole showing the endless possibilities that BBC Sounds provides.
