We were asked by Hennessy to create a social campaign to announce that they had been appointed the first global spirits partner of the NBA. Two lifestyle brands deeply rooted and engaged in culture, the story needed to reflect their shared DNA of bringing people together and inspire a new serve ritual amongst consumers: Hennessy and ginger ale.
As this was a targeted message for UK NBA fans, we created a set of films evoking the social culture that centres around park basketball courts and what it means to be a basketball fan in Britain.
Using Finsbury Park’s beloved court and a diverse cast of basketball enthusiasts, the films, shot by director Filmawi Efrem, weave in and out of beautiful, spontaneous moments of interaction and friendship.
